It is unnecessary to cut a workpiece forsampling, but the thing to do is to grind it directly for metallographicmaking, observing and photographing. In this way, a workpiece, especially afinished part will not be subject to damage so that the examination efficiencyof metal will be increased and the quality control of factory’s products willbe perfected. In addition, it can be used for metallographic observation in alaboratory.

 

PM50 can also beused with digital camera or CCD image process system to download metallurgicalimage on to a computer for data analysis.
